Temple Dedication

Today, I was blessed to attend the dedication of the Kansas City,MO Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I took a handkerchief that belonged to my dad and thought of how excited he was for this day. It was a great day.

Okay I have completed day 2 of my abs challenge. My abs are sore. I hope that means it is working!

Try again

I tried to do this ab challenge a while back. It was when I hurt my back so I had to stop as it was aggregating it. But I'm going to try again.

Today- Day 1

The journey

It seems like we as people at attached to outcomes.  We want to get to the end or finish or be there.  So it is so hard to "enjoy" the journey of a stressful situation.  Even when I know and have the peace that everything will work out the journey to get there can still be rough.  Right now life is a frenzy.  There are many changes taking place and I often find myself just wanting to be done. I wish I could enjoy the process more, because I know that is important too.

Trying to sell two houses and building a third is well pretty overwhelming at times.  It looks like we have one house sold so that has done wonders for my outlook.  I'm starting to see the end that I knew would come.  I know that it will all work out, but man in the meantime it is a LOT of work!!  

12 month clothes

Eli just turned 5 months old. I've been resisting moving him up in clothing size. Mostly because I didn't want to admit he was getting so big. I love my babies. I love them to stay small and Eli just isn't getting that message.

So I pulled out the 12 month pjs tonight. When I held them up they looked huge. I thought they would be way too long on him. But not really. They seem to fit perfectly--much to this momma's dismay!

Married

James' sister got married this weekend!! It was a crazy and fun weekend filled with family. Pictures to come!

Sore

I'm so sore. Between cleaning both houses, painting all Saturday, and carrying Mr 20.5 lb Eli-- my arms are tired.
