Hanging with daddy

It is always cute to see the kids in jammies after a bath.  Probably my favorite time.  And even cuter to see them all snuggled up with daddy for a little movie before bed.

The fort

Okay first of all I need to get better at staying up to date otherwise everything on my blog is out of order.  Hmm will I ever stay ahead. Probably not but at least I am still posting so let’s just pretend that I post on time.

The following is from Feb 24, 2011

I’ve decided I don’t have very good fort making skills.  Thankfully my children are small and don’t really know what a good fort is .  So this little one off the edge of table was good for them.

All three of us had fun climbing in together.  Although I could not get a picture of that.

Here is the fort:

Isn’t this the cutest of Sariah!  Sometimes the lighting just works in the most unexpected places.  Like under the table!

Ben would not stay in the fort long enough for me to get a picture.  See what I mean--->

New addition

Yep that's right another fish. My sister in law got married this weekend and they had cute little betas in a vase at each table. So we brought one home. He's name is Cinderella. Hopefully mommy doesn't kill him off.

Joy

On Tuesday I was supposed to pick the kids up from Grandma Ransom in Grain Valley. Oddly my car wouldn't start. My sister came and jumped me but it meant meeting closer to home and Jackie suggested the temple site. I am thankful for odd occurrences that can be meaningful coincidences. What a blessing that morning to see the beauty that will be a temple. It brought me joy.

Snugga Bugga

Ben woke up before Sariah today and gave me some snuggle time on the couch.

Snow

If you live in KC, you know that we have had A LOT of snow this year.  And every time there is snow the question comes, can we play in the snow?  Usually I tell her to ask her daddy when he gets home if he will take her to play in the snow.  Mommy is a wimp about the cold.  And with all that snow we were able to wait until the weekend when daddy was home to go sledding in the yard and make a sort of snowman looking tower thingy.
